Introducing ALT - pin matrix analog synthesizer - full demo
video upload by cyma forma
"ALT is an analog soundscape synthesizer designed to expand the realms of sonic exploration, through intricate motion.
in this demo, we go over the 3 sections of ALT (Voices, Alter, Movement), cover all main features, explain the pin matrix, the workflow, and show a few examples of how the synth can sound.
key features:
- 5 voices with free frequencies or following scales to create beautiful melodies
- stereo panning per voice
- MS-20 style stereo filter
- wild delay with infinite feedback
- modulation pin matrix with 2 LFOs, a random generator, an envelope follower, and 17 destinations
- light and sound sensors to make it react to its environment
- midi and CV inputs
…
ALT is for creatives who wish to explore a different workflow that will give rise to unheard harmonies, complex rhythmic patterns and precise sound design.
out on kickstarter on may 22nd.

First Video for cyma forma's ALT - analog soundscape synthesizer
video upload by cyma forma
See the announcement post with pics here.
"this is ALT: an analog soundscape synthesizer, specialized in musical sound design.
some sounds resonate with us in mysterious ways, as if they were part of something bigger, as if they were holding answers; so we try to make instruments that ask questions.

New ALT 5 Voice Desktop Analog Synthesizer from cyma forma in the Works
via cyma forma
Update: 1st video posted here.
"soundscape synthesizer
some sounds resonate with us in mysterious, intriguing ways, as if they were part of something bigger, as if they were holding answers.
ALT is an analog synthesizer designed to expand the realms of sound design, through intricate motion.
preorders available on kickstarter on may 22nd.
Voices
ALT hosts five voices, each with different waveform shaping possibilities, each offering stereo panning, enabling a rich, spatial audio experience.
a harmonic quantizer lets you chose scales, and play beautiful melodies, either with the faders, or with quantized pitch modulation.
Alter
sound alteration can be achieved with a stereo filter inspired by the Korg MS-20, and a wild stereo delay with infinite feedback.
Movement
initiate sound motion with a modulation pin matrix.
the matrix has 4 adjustable modulation sources: 2 LFO, 1 random step generator, 1 envelope follower; and 17 destinations.
light and sound sensors make it react and evolve with environmental stimuli.
all of which allow for complex rhythmic patterns, unheard harmonies, and precise sound design.
more details to come."
